Before any story is written, we automatically screen your inputs (names, interests, locations) for anything unsuitable. The story generator itself is given strict rules: if anything looks out of place, it silently substitutes it with something wholesome — so you always get a safe, warm story. Our platform is built for families with children aged 2–12, and every decision we make reflects that.
🎂What ages are the stories suitable for?
Stories are calibrated to each child's age. Ages 2–4 get short, repetitive, sensory-rich sentences with a safe and magical world. Ages 5–7 get slightly more plot and a little gentle challenge. Ages 8–10 get richer vocabulary and real emotional depth. And for older kids (11+), the prose feels closer to chapter-book quality. If you have children of different ages, each story is tailored individually to whoever it stars.

More than you might expect. You tell us your child's name, age, what they love, favourite Sunshine Coast locations, and the vibe you're after. You can also add friends, cousins, or siblings as characters. Before payment, we show you a full Story DNA preview — and you can tap any location, activity, narrative arc, or character to swap it before a single word is written.
📻Can I use these on a Yoto player?
